After months of telling the American people he wouldn't pardon his son, Hunter, Joe Biden finally pardoned him.
Biden had told us he respected and trusted the justice system and the jury's decision. He said that Hunter is "one of the brightest, most decent men I know...I will not pardon him."
The White House told the American people the same thing for months. Here's Press Secretary Karine Jeanne-Pierre repeating it over and over:
What makes this pardon for Hunter especially egregious is that the pardon covers not only his convictions of felony tax fraud and felony gun laws, but it is a blanket pardon that covers the past ELEVEN YEARS for all federal crimes that he MAY have committed.
Isn't January 1, 2014, interesting? If you recall, Hunter joined the board of Ukraine's dodgy gas company, Burisma, in April 2014. And we know that Hunter Biden was dispatched worldwide to be the money "bag man" for the Biden family and hold "10% for the big guy."
This blanket pardon is possibly the biggest cover-up of who knows what crimes, and Joe Biden knows precisely when they started. This isn't about gun charges or tax evasion; this is about Joe Biden escaping accountability for a long-running alleged influence-peddling scheme and protecting his family from future prosecution. Could more pardons be coming? I might take that bet.
The American people have been told that it's the Democrats who hold the moral high ground. However, it's apparent that lying and corruption know no bounds.
According to NBC News, "the president has discussed pardoning his son with some of his closest aides at least since Hunter Biden’s conviction in June, said two people with direct knowledge of the discussions about the matter. They said it was decided at the time that he would publicly say he would not pardon his son even though doing so remained on the table."
In other words, Joe Biden lied. [shocker]
How many times have we been told that Donald Trump is the one who will weaponize the justice system?
The thing about this pardon is that it essentially gives Donald Trump the green light to do whatever he wants. If you are a Democrat and are worried that Donald Trump might pardon all the J6 rioters or pardon those "loyal" to him, you should worry because Joe Biden just broke the system.
This has been the history with the Democrat left. They break the system and then are shocked when it is broken.
For example, the Democrats want to kill the Senate filibuster to ram through their pet policies like gun control and the Green New Deal. But yet, as soon as Republicans gain control, they cry about it, and suddenly, the filibuster is the best parliamentary rule since sliced bread. Or Democrats and liberal media worry about Trump "weaponizing" the justice system after they, themselves, have used the justice system to bring specious charges against their political enemies. Then they run around with their hair on fire and are surprised when Donald Trump is elected and comes into office to clean house.
In 2018, Democrats were so afraid that Donald Trump would use his constitutional powers to protect those who remain loyal to him (even if they are convicted of obstruction or perjury) that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) introduced the Abuse of the Pardon Prevention Act. This legislation was to prevent Donald Trump or any other president from abusing the pardon power for their own personal benefit or to obstruct justice.
You better believe that's off the table now.
Even a lot of Democrats see the hypocrisy in this pardon. Democrat governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, issued this statement:
"While as a father, I certainly understand President Joe Biden's natural desire to help his son by pardoning him, I am disappointed that he put his family ahead of the country. This is a bad precedent that could be abused by later Presidents and will sadly tarnish his reputation. When you become President, your role is Pater familias of the nation. Hunter brought the legal trouble he faced on himself, and one can sympathize with his struggles while also acknowledging that no one is above the law, not a President and not a President’s son."
And liberal pollster Nate Silver, who voted for Kamala Harris, may have summed it up best:
“Biden’s stubborn insistence on running for reelection was perhaps the singular most important factor in Trump 2.0, and now he’s kicking salt in the wound of the party brand he helped to destroy...a selfish and senile old man,"
Never again listen to Democrats, Hollywood elites, and the talking heads in the media preach that "Donald Trump is a threat to democracy," "Donald Trump is a liar, I don't believe a word he says," or "Donald Trump will use the system to benefit himself or his family."
Nope.

I am not surprised at all, and the Democrats should NOT be surprised as sleepy Joe has been a pathological liar his whole life. For Joe Biden this is simply another day at the office. They are called the Biden Crime Family for a reason.
A message to all conservatives, don’t get your panties in a wad just yet. We have not seen the end of President Biden‘s pardons. Before January 20, 2025 I believe we will see pardons of both his brothers, his sister, himself and most of his administration. He may even throw in a pardon for Dr. Jill just for good measure. If Biden and his crime family do not pay for this, it is on the Republicans for failing to do their job.
